For this project I wanted to experiment with Photoshop techniques that I haven’t done before, so I chose to create three posters for a summer music festival using a double color exposure effect. I wanted to keep the main focus of the posters on the background image, but also have some focus on the typography by using bright colors and keeping the information about the event to a minimum. I wanted the audience to be able to read the text and from a distance so I kept the typography a sans serif font and used colors that would contrast with the background so it would stand out more.
